Our Pastor
Stanley Byrd, Sr. is a native of Clayton, NC and serves Lead Pastor of Kingdom Harvest Church; a vibrant, life changing and life giving church committed to “Helping People to Discover, Develop and Demonstrate God’s love.” Stanley has worked with both the public and private sector in a variety of areas including:
- Leadership development
- Motivation
- Employee communications
- Organizational transformation
- Marketing
- Public relations for non-profit organizations and for-profit businesses
He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management, from the University of Maryland, Master of Science in Administration, from Central Michigan University, and a Master of Divinity degree from Howard University School of Divinity. Stanley and his wife, Mamie have been married since August 28, 1982 and are the proud parents of three children and two grandchildren.
Our First Lady
Mrs. Mamie W. Byrd, affectionately known as Lady Byrd, is a native of Washington, DC. The oldest of nine siblings, she was saved and matured in Christ at the Paramount Baptist Church, Washington, DC.
Currently, Mamie is a Dietetic Consultant for several institutions in North Carolina and Washington DC. Her career has included employment at the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services as a state regulator/surveyor, 15 years at Howard University as a Project Director and as a Clinical Dietetic Instructor, in the College of Pharmacy, Nursing and Allied Health Sciences, Department of Nutritional Sciences. Her research interests include geriatric nutrition, health promotion and wellness, obesity and renal nutrition, as well as student leadership development.
Mamie earned a B.SC. in Medical Dietetics from Howard University, College of Allied Health Sciences and a M. ED. from Penn State University.
As a vivid worshipper of the living God, Mamie demonstrates her deep love for Jesus by serving Him in the community and at Kingdom Harvest Church by leading the Women’s Ministry, KHC Kidz Ministry, and Connection and Care Ministry. Her sincere love and faith in God is reflected by her favorite scripture Ephesians 3:20.
Mamie and Stanley have thrived in marriage since August 28, 1982. They are the parents of three children and two grandchildren.
